For those who don't already know, The Comic Book Embassy is the upper floor of 392 Spadina, which houses Ty Templeton's comic book school, as well as a studio of working cartoonists, myself included.

We will be putting on more shows in the future so stay tuned.

We had the launch party for Holmes Inc. Issue 3 at the Comic Book Lounge on Friday the 7th. It was great to see everyone on the drink, coming to terms with the aftermath of their work. All artist love their ideas cemented to the page...

Lots of confessions, but most of all, everyone is excited to prove themselves for the next issue. Check out Ty Templeton's Comic Book Bootcamp if you are interested in being involved in the next issue. You'll need to prove you know the basics of writing and drawing, but no need to fret because Ty Templeton is the BEST teacher you'll have the privilege to learn from. I mean, he wrote and drew "Batman Adventures" and "The Simpson's" comics, among a plethora of others. Just shoot Ty an email to find out the prerequisites, because it's super fun and great for propelling you into the world of visual storytelling.

I just finished the art for a 5 page story in Ty Templeton's, "Holmes Inc.", issue #3.

For those who aren't familiar with Holmes Inc., it's a group of writers and artists, from to beginner to professional, drawing and writing each others stories. It's been very fun so far, and I am excited to see what it all looks like when it's published in August.

We're having a launch party at Toronto Cartoonist Workshop on College street, September 7th, so be sure to make it out if you can.
